The free call is a vibe check. Fifteen minutes to explain your situation, ask a couple questions, and see if I am the right attorney for you. The paid consultation is a working session — I dig into your specific legal issue, give you analysis, and follow up with concrete action items. Think of it as the difference between a first date and actually sitting down for dinner.
For the free call: just know what you want to talk about. That is it. For a paid consultation: if you have relevant documents (contracts, correspondence, filings), have them accessible. But do not stress about being perfectly organized. That is literally my job.
Business law, technology contracts, corporate transactions, SaaS agreements, entity formation, IP licensing, data privacy, civil litigation, and outside general counsel arrangements. If your issue is outside my wheelhouse, I will tell you on the free call and point you to someone who can help.
For transactional work — contracts, corporate, IP, privacy — absolutely. Many clients operate nationally. For litigation, I cover state and federal courts in Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts.
Usually within a few business days. If something is genuinely urgent (deadline, active dispute, deal closing), mention that when you book and I will do my best to accommodate.
