Thirty minutes, one-on-one. You explain your situation, I ask questions, and you leave knowing what your options are and what they cost. A consultation is not legal advice — it is the map, not the journey. The actual legal work is priced flat, quoted in writing at the consultation before any work begins.

No — and that is by design. The consultation gives you general legal information and a clear picture of your options, so you can make an informed decision about what to do next. Legal opinions and advice on your specific matter come with an engagement: a signed engagement letter, a defined scope, and a fee quoted in writing. No attorney-client relationship is formed by booking or attending a consultation.

Just know what you want to talk about. If you have relevant documents (contracts, correspondence, filings), have them accessible. But do not stress about being perfectly organized. That is literally my job.

For transactional work — contracts, corporate, IP, privacy — absolutely. Many clients operate nationally. For litigation, I cover state and federal courts in Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts.
